BLACK
HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 28, 11:30AM – 3:30PM
Delicious food, spoken word, music, dance and visual arts came together
to celebrate Black History Month in Villa Victoria. This wonderful
community brunch included the inspiring sounds of Gospel and Hip
Hop, Poetry, Break-dance and a special performance by the nationally-acclaimed,
award-winning singer and poet Iyeoka Okoawo.

CHINESE
NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 27, 3:00PM
Special performance by the Chinese Folk Art Workshop. This
amazing troupe of young performers promotes interaction with and
understanding of Chinese culture in the Boston community. Ranging
in age from 12 to 18, the members of the troupe perform a variety
of traditional Chinese folk arts such as Dragon Dance, Lion Dance,
Taiwanese Drums and Chinese yoyo.
